At HB Lanarc, we recognize the importance of the "big picture" – the regional scale of planning. We work with communities, regional governments, land owners and developers to create sustainable regional growth strategies.
Successful plans at this scale must address the dynamic tensions of land-use change, shifts in population and demographics, short- and long-term economic opportunities, ecosystem and agricultural needs, infrastructure capacity, mobility, and community and cultural assets. The influence of regional land use and transportation patterns on climate change and air quality cannot be overstated.
